A showcase for Finnish puppet theatre highlights fresh, interesting puppet theatre performances of a professionally high level from across Finland. The programme includes puppet theatre performances, a puppet exhibition, workshops and an event in the foyer. On Saturdays and Sundays passes can be bought for all the day’s performances for €25 / day.

Little Aukusti is born into the world of the small circus and instead of growing starts to mysteriously shrink. The theme of this performance is the fears associated with childhood, growing up and becoming independent and flying the nest to see the world in amidst the confusion.

A silent play for babies and toddlers full of the joy of comprehension, surprises, changing shapes – and jars. The colour scheme of this performance has been chosen with the colour perception of babies in mind.

This silent performance describes the life and memories of an old man. Muisto, a human-sized puppet, explores his photo album. Old events come to life in Muisto’s living room and whisk him away with them.

A side-splitting art exhibition tour of the absurd, in which the figures in the paintings come to life and burst out of their frames. The stories were inspired by the five paintings by artist Hanna Schroderus.
